Russian born fashion designer Zhanna Kens is hitting the U.S. at full speed as one of the fashion industry’s most contemporary young designers. Zhanna is a vivacious artist with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for design. Her fashions are chic and modern; causal and elegant. They are truly works of art – wearable art. Growing up in both Magadan and Moscow, Russia, Zhanna Kens had a passion for designing clothes since a young child. Her dreams of becoming a fashion designer were so strong that at the age of five, Zhanna began making clothes for her dolls, then for herself, and then her friends. The passion continued to grow and when she immigrated to the United States in 1994, Zhanna already had a well established clientèle. She had become so popular in Moscow that her reputation preceded her. Prospective clients in Florida, where she moved to, were already seeking her out to create ball gowns and other clothing for them before she could catch her breath. It didn’t phase her in the least. She was doing what she loved.

Because of the overwhelming response she received once she arrived in Florida, Zhanna realized her passion (which is also her profession) was growing stronger so this beauty decided to make a business out of fashion design. Her originality and extreme creativity was sought out and much of her time was spent filling orders for new designs. Zhanna’s creations are well made and created to order and this has given her repeat business over and over again.

Right now the runway designer superstar has decided to create her designs with highly fashionable stretch and draped fabrics. She also uses chiffon and silk for her her more elegant dresses and gowns. They are ornate and sparkling, which are perfect for their purposes. All of her designs are hand made with the help of her sewing machine. Some of the embellishments she uses are Swarovski crystals, hand-crafted beads, silk flowers, and originally-designed appliqués. All of the ornaments on her fashions are placed to enhance the outfit, which is created to enhance the beauty of each individual client.

Zhanna is currently working on designs for ballroom and Latin dance wear, figure skating costumes, and elegant and semi-formal evening dresses, all of which are custom made for each client. Her style and brand are unique and have been for over nine years. She is consistently innovating to meet the needs of her clients as well as the fashion trends. You may know Lawrence Sibanda better as Dragg, or Sean S., the 18 year old rapper/hip-hop artist from the UK. Dragg originally hails from Johannesburg, South Africa, but moved to Kingston Upon Hull when he was just 12. Dragg is visual impaired but that does not stop him from his musical passions. In fact, it drives him because he is a true visionary and forward-thinker when it comes to writing lyrics.

Dragg is not your typical rapper. For the most part, he keeps his lyrics clean, proving to the youth of the world that you can still send a powerful message through music without expletives. He began singing when he was 12 and would rap along to some of his favourite hip hop artists like, Wu-Tang Clan, Canibus, Xzibit, and many others. When he was 13, he recorded his first song with Jinx a.k.a. Muna. Dragg and Jinx wrote and produced other songs that are yet to be released, and Dragg says he has included these songs on his newest CD, entitled “It Is What It Is”.

Sean S has also worked with some industry greats like: OD Hunte. Hunte has produced music from the soundtracks for Beta House and American Pie 6, as well as producing albums for Leona Lewis, Natalia Druyts, Leela James, and Slic 1, among others in the hip hop world. Dragg has recorded and produced with Mr. Prezident, Projekt Feenix, Laura Prescot, and Joy Bacerdo, plus many other producers and songwriters like himself.

He has been working on tracks for his newest CD called “It Is What It Is”. Featured on the CD will be some of the UK’s greatest hip hop artists and MCs, plus rappers from the U.S. and Malawi. He’s working hard to create songs that will send positive messages without being vulgar. He realises that it’s not about the words you use, it’s about the message you’re sending.
