Hansel and Gretel by Sarasota Opera

Register now for Summer Workshop Day Camp 2010 The Summer Workshop Day Camp offers classes in music, voice, acting, opera appreciation, design, and technical production for young people 8 and up. The theme of this year’s workshop is Fairy Tales and Folk Music in Opera. The location of this camp is in beautiful, sun-drenched Sarasota, Florida.

The final day of the workshop is an open house, allowing families to travel with campers to their classes on a typical workshop day. The three week program will run June 14-July 2, 2010; five full days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave. Sarasota. Before and after camp care is also available. Campers will bring their own lunches, but a daily snack is provided.
