The Black Spider Creeps into the Sarasota Opera House May 7 and 8, 2010 Sarasota Youth Opera will present The Black Spider, a comic thriller that weaves the story of a venomous spider that terrorizes 15th-centry Poland and with the modern day story of archeologists who were stricken with a mysterious illness after excavating the tomb of Casimir IV in Cracow, Poland.
The production will be performed by our talented Youth Opera members, conducted by Sarasota Youth Opera Music Director Lance Inoyue, and directed by Martha Collins. Performances are May 7 at 7:30 pm and May 8 at 1:30 pm. Tickets are just $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $50 for a Family Pack for 2 adults and up to 4 students (when ordering Family Pack online, use promotion code: FamPack2010).
